Product Description

Pioneer Arms Sporter Series of AK Rifles have been an affordable mainstay for US consumers for years. These imports from Radom, Poland are produced in some of the same buildings once used by the venerable Polish Military Circle 11 Plant. When designing the Sporter Series of rifles, Pioneer Arms Corp in Poland utilized licensed Kalashnikov Blueprints to design the Sporter Series to have the authentic AKM feel that users expect from an import AK.
The Sporter series of AK rifles feature a 16.3” barrel with 14x1LH thread pitch, a forged front trunnion, Russian Pattern furniture compatibility, an enhanced safety selector, and a traditional AK optics side rail. This model is chambered in 7.62x39 and comes with beautiful varnished Polish laminated wood handguards with palm swells for additional grip as well as a distinctive Orange colored Polish style Waffle Magazine. The Orange Waffle Magazine gives what some users may consider an old-fashioned Bakelite look due to the orange coloring. This magazine is made of durable Zytel polymer and is of Polish design, but Made in the USA.
