If you are having an issue with an already purchased firearm please email warranty@pioneerarmsusa.com and provide the following:
- Serial number of the firearm
- Copy of the original purchase invoice
- A photo or two of the issue - jpeg or png format
Once we receive these items, we can determine the best course of action.
Registration is not required. Just keep your original purchase receipt, which will be requested during the warranty process.
We try to make this process easy, just email warranty@pioneerarmsusa.com to obtain an RMA.
We request that you provide the following:

Our goal is to service your warranty as quickly and efficiently as possible so it can get sent back to you promptly. Typically, firearms can be evaluated and serviced within one week after they arrive back at our facility.
No, Pioneer Arms 5.56 AKs are specifically designed to use the 5.56 NATO ammunition.

Pioneer Arms has a robust Distributor and Dealer network for our firearms, making our products available to Dealers nationwide. If you are interested in our products, search them online or stop into your local Dealer and ask them if they carry our products. If they don’t, have them sign up to become a stocking Dealer!
Pioneer Arms guarantees the fit of Pioneer Arms manufactured 5.56 AK magazines with our 5.56 Sporters and Hellpups. Other manufacturers have been tested to fit, but guarantees cannot be made due to the varying specifications from other companies.
We don’t like to make promises we cannot keep, so until it has reached the U.S., we cannot say anything for sure. Keep a watchful eye on the website for new products being released or re-released.
There is a rumor that our 5.56 firing pins break at a faster rate than their 7.62x39 counterparts. We have not seen legitimate warranty claims from customers to support this rumor, but are there to support our customers if a problem arises.
Due to varying manufacturing specifications, the only recommended and approved firing pins for our 5.56 NATO AK’s are Pioneer Arms manufactured firing pins.
The thread holes in the rear of the receiver is a metric thread, M4x10. We do not have specific other rails that we can recommend to fit this, except the ones we install or will be selling soon for the rear of the gun.
Pioneer Arms AK’s have a standard 14-1 left-hand thread.
